Pet peeves!!

    I prefer to be addressed by my surname, not my given name, in professional and medical settings. And by young people. It shows respect. It also probably wont happen soon o_O.

    I also would like if people who call, would let the phone ring more times, and would leave a message. It's rude to call and hang up after three rings. Then I'm stuck calling back - which might be a scam, or robocall, or might be important - and asking why they called. Plus, my medical office goes through a central trunk line, and sometimes by phones with blocked caller ID, and I can't know who called. It's respectful and professional to let it ring longer and, if no response, leave a message. Not everyone can answer their phone every time and within three rings. :stew1:

    Very good ones Daniel. I shall tell you, if folks who call when I am not at home do not leave a message...I do not call them back.
