A lot of phones out there that's for sure. Wonder why they went to the match if not to watch and enjoy it? Phones go into a phone jail basket here at dinner time or family time when visits happen....or I turn off the Wi-Fi . No cell service has its advantages.
Given that these seats are so close to the court I'd imagine they are corporate. It happens at a lot of different sports events. They are often given to people who aren't that interested in the actual game, they may prefer just to text their friends to tell them that they are there.
