Barb--I too love your bridges & dry creek beds. A great solution to the drainage issue, and charming to boot!

I wanted you all so see that we moved the urns to the entrance.

It's a very wet day and I think It's looking so better out there. I am very happy with all the new flowers and how the front garden is filling in. Can't wait ti see when the middle of the Summer is here and it's all filled in.

Haven't mulched yet been too busy.

Barb, the update is awesome. This is so much work....lining the dry creeks and bordering the beds with rocks is so laborious. I am tired just looking at all you have gotten done. Or maybe its from picking up rocks in my garden tonight....I am tired. Yours at least looks great when you are done. All I find is another rock when I think I am done or it's time to pick beans or something in the garden and I have to kneel and it's right on a rock that was missed. Do you need some more? I have tons of them, literally

    HOW THEY MAKE ROCKS

It is said that, how they make rocks is that in the Winter they "go underground" and become intimant with each other and make whoppie the whole time and in the Spring they have zillions of babies to show for it, just popping out all over the place.

No Wonder we have so many... And here I was going to offer to send you my loader bucket full (through the mail of course bag after bag after bag after bag...)if you needed them, but if this is the case I suppose you won't be needing mine, huh? I am so sad, I just wanted to do something nice for you. :D
Well. anyway, have a nice evening. Hugs, Carolyn

    Wow... Look who's been planting!
Your driveway looks like an entrance to a park or something. Can't wait to see it all filled in. Fabulous job! :smt038

Thank you all. No one ever told me that they liked it. I feel like my neighbors just sort of put up with our little gardens as eye sores. I don't care for I like it and that is what counts. I could let it get overgrown with high weeds for them... :D

The rocks and paths have been there for about 5 years. We mulch and add plants every year. Now everything are spreading.

My driveway is another story. It's crumbling away and I need to decide what to do with it. It's humongo and if you look hard it goes all along the front of my house and curves around and back to the end of the house. That used to be the garage and we changed it to our living room with the 3 sets of french doors.

A garden is a living changing thing and you have a great start to a garden you will enjoy for years.
