I gave up exercise in favor of dryness and iced tea

Never even heard of it but, hopefully, you'll tell us all about it. :)

It's tennis for aging baby boomers. Smaller court, smaller racket (called a paddle.... Like a large pingpong paddle), complicated rules.

    It's actually fun though.
No one plays it on here?

I takes me all my time to play the fool these days  Pickleball sounds a bit daunting to me, tiddlywinks would be more like it - IF I can get all the weeding finished first :worried:

I know what it is and a huge fad here in the states. I have enough to do without more exercise. I get plenty around here …

I've played some sports in my childhood and teens, like football, (which some people in the world call soccer). As well as became pretty good when it came to martial arts. So that's perhaps the reason why I'm still fit and maintaining my edge.

However, believe it or not - But the best exercise and workout that I ever got. Was chasing after my Dog, as well as getting chased by her at time also.

Now I'm chasing people who owe me money, as well as running away from those who I owe money to. So that's a very good workout for me today.

If I remember right it was actually started on Bainbridge Island, Washington. I grew up 15-20 minutes from there and don't remember anyone being interested in it. My P.E. teacher made us play it in high school.
Many years later when my son grew up we were joking that it was probably a couple kids visiting their grandparents house in the summer. They were bored and decided to see what there was to do in the garage, found a couple ping pong paddles and a wiffle ball and it was born.
My kids loved a game called ZimZam. It was kind of like tetherball but with a tennis ball and paddles. I wish I had kept it for my granddaughter.

Hey, I just read the history, I thought my son was joking but he must have read the history himself!

Sim Zam was a fun game I remember the kids liked it . At least no one had to chase the ball.
