That looks like one of the hundreds of Mimosa trees I pull up out of the yard all year long. We have two and their seeds land everywhere. I like them, I just don't want them where they plant themselves usually.

i am just wondering where i got the seeds. cause i don't remember seeing this kind of tree where i usually went seed picking :D
i guess i'll have to wait and see. i'd be disappointed not because i don't like it's flowers (cause i do) but because i have just seen one today in a yard. looks like they can take the winters over here. well... i'll wait for it to bloom... a few years :D

It does look like a mimosa, but could also be a sensitive plant. They are in the mimosa family and make little purple puff ball flowers.

Just went out and checked my sensitive plant, that's not it, bc the leaves are not opposite each other.
