Greetings all: I'm new here and hoping to get some ideas on plants to use on a blank pallet pondless waterfall and the rock retaining wall that runs the length of the cul de sac. We are in hardiness zone 8b, in Puget Sound and I'll be looking around the site here to see what others have done, and am always open to ideas and suggestions. What I'm initially interested in now is identifying plants to tuck into random cracks and crevices along the rock wall. Initially, I'm looking at plants such as Thyme, Baby's Breath, Hens and Chicks, Moss Pink, Columbine, and Creeping Jenny. I don't want the wall to become overgrown but, rather, add some living interest and color. I'm a total novice to all of this, and quite ignorant when it comes to plants...other than they look nice! I'll appreciate any ideas. Thanks!
