My tomatoes are just about ready to pot up. I started the seeds in an organic growers mix. However, the seedlings to me look rather pale. Instead of using the growers I was wondering if it would be safe to use Miracle Grow to pot them up. Asking this, because last year I mixed in about a teaspoon of granular fertilizer when up potting and almost killed off the tomato plants. :frustrated: I redone them and rinsed out the fertilizer and most of them were fine after the wash. So, I don't want a repeat of last year and the main question is, would the Miracle Grow be too strong for the tender seedlings? :headscratch:

It should be fine. I started my seeds in Miracle Gro (but not the moisture retaining soil) and they took off and grew like crazy. If you are really concerned, why not mix 1/2 Miracle Gro and 1/2 plain potting soil?
