    Powys Castle is in East Central Wales, UK. Not sure how that relates to American zones. However, the garden is on a south-facing steep slope and can grow many less hardy things that we cannot, just 17 miles away. Even so they do get frosts as was evident from the damage to many of the Dahlias and the fact that they have begun taking away the tender bedding stuff.
