Lovely shots! If we are trying to cool down Toni, I could post some winter shots of the snow?

We're climbing past 85 soon. I feel for you Texans. Maybe printing and hanging Droopy's photos in your windows would give you cool feelings.

Hey Texas people-I know how you feel. Here in my part of Virginia we have already had temps in the 90s and high humidity. My brother is in Texas working and he has been telling me how hot it is there. It can be so frustrating when you want to get outside and do some gardening. I have to do it early in the a.m. or late in the evening while it is still light, or else I just resort to GardenStew and live vicariously. Here are some pics to help all of us hot ladies to cool down. Hang in there Toni! :stew1:

Here is some snow from February and some chilly doves sitting in the hydrangea bush, which, by the way, is about to bloom....

Having some nice pictures of winter scenery on the wall would be a good idea. Toni do you remember the summer of 1980 when the Dallas area (I use to live there) had over 63 days of temps over 100. And many of those were all in a row and some reached 115 degrees. It was horrible.

So bring on the snowy pictures, please.

Getting chilly just looking at these photos, but keep them coming.....the chilly feeling is wonderful.

Gaylyn, That summer was pure you know what. 42 days in a row of over 100 degree temps, with a total of 69 days over 100 that summer. The hottest being two days in June of 113.
