Hi! Just bought one just like that. I would but quickcrete repair, Clean with a light amount of bleach and water and some dawn and rinse well. That is what i am doing and then after it dries well we will coat it with Thompson Seal and I will decide if I want to paint it then ... I wanted to add the house we now live in had the remnants of that birdbath. No top and only parts of the sea hose bottom. We broke of the two heads and humps and put around the edging of a flower bed. Looks kind of like sea serpent. Inside that are a base loaded with rebar that does seem to break at all and three huge pieces of rebar that held the three horses. We turned in upside down and it makes a great table in the garden. I just found my new one at a garage sale. We raced out there to get it. A real find.
