repotted plant

    I repotted the pot bound aloe vera and noticed a broken stem.
    What should I do

    No expert here Ed, but I wouldn't think this bent stem will harm the plant.
    In fact, don't people snip Aloe to get the gel? Maybe you ought to snip the damaged stem off. It may help the plant.

    Were the roots really tight and jam-packed when you took it out of it's old pot? It looks happier already! ;)

    Yes Ed, I would cut that bend leaf. It may begin to rot and cause problems. It really does look happier.

    Cutting off the bend leaf won't harm it, my friend is constantly cutting leaves from her aloe planting and starting new plants from the cuttings

    It should be fine to cut it as long as you don't cut the center stems.
