I bought 10 cuttings off of eBay and got 10 free. They were large cuttings and I managed to cut them down so I had 42 altogether. I potted these on 4 July and have them in my shaded greenhouse. About how long can I expect it to take for them to root?

Chris a friend of mine grew this plant from cuttings. Sadly she is no longer with us so I can't tell you how long they took to root. I do, however, remember her saying that it was about two years before the cuttings grew large enough to flower.

Thanks Eileen, I guess it will be like waiting for my Epiphyllum cuttings to start putting out leaves, patience is the answer. I guess the older you get the faster you want things to happen.

I had to look up which plant you meant but now that I know I'm 'rooting for you' to get some good plants growing! :)

Hope you also have a slow mo camera to capture any bloomings. :) :)

Thanks, I'm sure it will take years before they bloom.
