Since many of us like to start our own seeds, would a dedicated forum or topic about seed starting (kind of containers, soil, gro-lamps, how to water, etc.) be of interest to enough Stewies to merit your effort? Just a thought from someone who loves this website!

Yes, I like this idea very much. These types of topics occur regularly, so I believe it warrants its own forum.
Will add very soon, thank you for the suggestion marlingardener :stew1:

Here we have it: Seed Starting forum.

Frank, thank you very much! You certainly don't waste time, do you?
Now I have hope of getting better germination and stronger seedlings with the advice I'll find on the Seed Starting forum (my suggestion was not altruistic!).

Great idea! I never really started too many plants from seeds, but because someone here (you know you are!) has sent me some good stuff... I'm sure I'll be needs questions answered. And where better to go?

I like this idea too. This is the first year I have been able to collect so many different kinds of seeds and am a little nervous about trying my hand at starting them.

I have acquired some Datura seeds from a neighbor, should I start them inside or sew them outside?
