    my morning glory tower

I had a planter that I wanted to plant something in that the squirrels would not dig up, my neighbor gave me some chicken wire and my other neighbor came over and helped me put the chicken wire on the top, then he came over and put up a tower made of chicken wire and dowel rods, and this is what he came up with. I think it is a good idea, just wait until they twine and bloom!

    morning glory tower grows

Here is my tower, I put a little piece of fishing line to connect it to the bigger tower. As you can see, it is growing straight up the line and I can't wait to see it bloom too, I know I have some Heavenly Blue morning glories, and a few other colors as well, Scarlett O'Hara, and I think some Flying Saucer too, oh I think there might be a moonflower in there too. Its been long enough I forgot:) But as you can see, it is twining quite well.

Hi Everyone...I've been missing in action but I can explain. I finally made the professional move from "THE" place to a much better place of employment. However, it does not have a garden space because we are on the second floor in a box building. So I will need everyone's help in sending in their containers for the year. PLEASEEEEEEEE!!!

So you are talking about container ideas that will fit a fairly small space and look appropriate for an office? How about finding a drip coffee maker carafe, preferably a clear glass one to hold a water plant. After putting in the plant add about a 2 inch layer of colored glass half marbles or regular marbles. One of the oversized coffee mugs would be cute holding a pretty Sedum.

These are the only planters I have.
The first one is a cone liner off of a rock crusher, turned up-side down. I call it my wok and each year I plant something different in it. This year I think I'll plant petunias, maybe. Then there is the kettle under the kitchen window. There is another kettle on the other side of the front door. And last is the 'feed trough' planters Mike built for me.

I love your planters 2ofus. The first one I would definitely find a place in my garden for.
