Side yard....should we even try?

    Ok, this forum is providing a lot of encouragement, as usual. :)
    so first step is to take out the ivy. I can do that. Will read up more about building terrace and go from there.

    Tooty2shoes, I don't have sweet woodruff there. The ivy isn't climbing the walls yet.

    That is what we did with my whole front yard. You couldn't cut the grass without almost falling over on the tractor and forget a push machine. so I made it all gardens and walkways along with dry river beds that are not so dry when we have gushing rains.
