This is a somewhat costly fish of the Indian ocean. Don't know about it's availability in North America or Europe - But it is easily available in Pakistan, India, Middle East, Eastern Africa, and Western Australia too. There are actually 2 types of Pomfret, one is black and big, while this silver one is small and often highly sought after. Anyone who tastes this, will never want to eat any other deep sea fish. Yes, it really is that good.
