I was doing the gardening at my new house when I noticed this tree. It’s got dark green leaves and a small yellow flower and then a bean that grows where the flower is. I’m so confused as to what it is. Just wondering what its name is and if it’s a weed or poisonous? Thankyou

@Catarina Welcome to the forum. Do you live in Queensland Australia? I agree that this shrub looks like a Cassia, and I have seen them growing around the Brisbane area. If I were you I would not be tempted to eat those ''beans'' I believe they are poisonous I've always called this Senna.
