Small, very small, moth.

    This moth is about the size of the width of your little fingers finger nail, about 3/8 inch. Pretty colors, colours for our european friends.Carcina quercana, Oak-skeletonizer moth.

    What a pretty thing your moth is - it looks as though it's wearing a fur coat. :p We have tiny moths here too but none as attractive as yours.

    Well.. skeletonizing an oak sounds like a big job for such a tiny fellow!

    Thanks Kildale -- he's great looking and it's fun to see insects that I've never seen before.
