I have 4 pots of snow peas/sugar snaps, all of them (12 plants) leaves have spots on it. And lower parts of the plants are turning brown. Not sure what the problem is? I don't over water them, each pot is 12 inch diameter and has 3 plants in each pot.
It may be this: (I have to scroll up to the top of the page btw) https://infonet-biovision.org/PlantHealth/Crops/Peas#27705
Outgoing, I sympathize. It's hard to lose a crop. The disease is soil borne and there is no cure. Don't plant in the same soil, same pots. Do a true new start with certified seed, fresh soil, and in different pots. Sugar snaps are so delicious they are worth the extra effort!
Spore fly in the air. They literally can come from another continent if the jetstreams are right, like us getting dust from the sahara desert here in the southeast US. Many trees actually harbor certain fungi, and always grass is harboring some leaf spot in there somewhere. Its really hard to say, but keep your eyes open, and maybe move them elsewhere one season, just to see. And one tidbit, oils or other barriers can interfere with the chemistry a spore uses to penetrate the dermal layers of a targeted plant. The fungus has only the enzymes and so forth, so a spraying program weekly or bi weekly will definitely help.
