We have one rose bush that is not a climbing rose. A friend loaded it into our truck one day when we were visiting. It's a dark wine color and smells wonderful. It's as big as dr's hand.

I noticed a couple of the blaze roses near it have a mixed color, some being dark like the large rose. I don't know the name of the large rose.
dr says it is cross pollinating. I hope they all smell as wonderful.

That is one very large rose, as you said, and it's also very lovely. Don't you feel sorry for roses that don't have any scent?

It feels like velvet, too! I'll have to ask Rick what kind it is next time I see him.

We live in an apartment complex now. No outside plants. Only have a large jade plant.
