Great picture of the Trillium Al. Did you get that at a nursery or dig it up somewhere? The Trillium is the official flower of Ontario and it is illegal to dig them up. Yet, you never see them at the greenhouse so you can have some in your garden...

    36F, feels like 27F, humidity 48%, wind E @ 13MPH

Yesterdays high was 51F a brisk wind made it feel much colder.

Thank you all for the nice comments about Kares gardens and such. We have one Daffidill in bloom we saw yesterday. Will try to make the time to get a picture of it today.

Netty, Trilliums are protected here too. I do not dig any flowers from the woods either, I do how ever on occation get them when I take top soil but it is not intentional. Since I walk in the woods every day morning and evening rain or shine I get to enjoy all that blooms there. I have even discovered things bloom I never in my life knew before.

These out at the drive way turn are know where ready to bloom yet unlike the ones near the house.

Great picture of those tulips Al. Was it taken this year? If so, you are wayyyy ahead of us here. My tulips are only up an inch so far.
    What does that mean Al?

Yesterdays high temp 58F, felt much colder than that in the wind though.
We did our first bee removal for 2007 yesterday. Fellow wanted to tear down an old building and found them. We got them and placed them in a hive. I like free bees.

Netty those are last years tulips, they are not even up here yet. We do have one lonely daffy in bloom.
Ramps are wild leaks. I love to add freash chopped leaks to my food.

Will miss you a lot partly because of your beautiful pictures but also because we are fellow Michiganders.
