One of these winter days, when you don’t feel like doing what you are supposed to be doing; when you have to be inside and you are bored rigid (and so you have plenty of time and you have the patience to watch this all the way out. Have a seat, bring the popcorn and cola and watch this vid. Oh yes—do have the volume on because the chap narrates.

    Happy watching.

Squirrels here are a real nuisance and I'm afraid I wouldn't even think of encouraging them to come to my garden more often than they do. I have squirrel proof bird feeders but have had to put up a squirrel feeder so that the squirrels don't destroy them. As long as there are peanuts easily accessible to them, they tend to leave the seed ones alone. Seems to work fine at least for the time being.

@Sjoerd that was a good video. We don't get many here because of the wood down the path. But we get 1 on the squirrel proof seed feeders. I used to put peanuts out but the birds like the seed more and the peanuts just go mouldy so i don't buy them.

Well, I could watch this sort of video all day long. I love seeing the ingenuity with problem solving. Such clever creatures those rodents are. Ravens as well.

This is a great video. :) Talk about creativity and a very talented and persistant squirrel. The builder must have had a lot of fun. I'll watch it again later this afternoon with Hubby. He will get a laugh.

If I wanted to encourage my squirrels...I'd build one of these also. It looks so darn funny, I don't think I would tire of it.

    Great video Sjoerd!

It reminded me of the boot camp obstacle course, although we were never launched into the air like that.

Thanks for that note, Daniel. Yes, I can see that resemblance as well. Boot camp—yeah, there were all sorts of challenges chuckle, but never quite as difficult as combat itself, aye.

Never seen that one, Clay. What a riot.
There is no Sears over here, I reckon that’s why.
    Cheers for that one.
