Hello All: Has anyone heard of starting pepper seeds in the dark or presoaking the seeds overnight before you plant them ? Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks GreggG
I wouldn't recommend starting them in the dark if you are starting in a closet or some such, regular daylight cycle is suitable. Soaking seeds is okay, especially if you are uncertain how old the seeds are. I always start my seeds on a heat mat, too. Peppers are notoriously difficult to start in cool soil.
