    Oh boy that was some shower of hail wasn't it? I'm glad your plants survived the onslaught.

    Philip what is the name of that gorgeous rose you have? I think it is so attractive and such a pretty colour.

    You must be so proud of your garden and I would love to wander through it drinking in all the lovely plants you have.

    Looking at your photographs has suddenly made me realise that my red and yellow broom hasn't appeared this year. No doubt temperatures of -19 and five feet of snow for a prolonged period didn't agree with it. :(

    Lovely flowers Philip, glad to hear that you sustained no damage from the hail. The cats retreat to the cat house during inclement weather?

    Hi Eileen,
    that shower of hailstones set off car alarms!,..after it stopped the rain was also very heavy,..it knocked off loads of flowers from the Scotch Broom,..Oh sorry to read that your broom didn't appear this year,..yep -19C was very harsh for our plants and shrubs this side of the pond,..neither plants or ourselves are used to it.

    That rose,...i took pictures from 3 rose bushes,..the first is the weirdest shaped rose,..very heavy,..all of them were from cuttings i took on the Victorian Estate,..alas none still had names,..some are now over 8 foot high,..and i do prune them each year.

    I get quite a few visitors in the garden!,..mostly because i supply the Church Altar with flowers and ferns when all are in full bloom,..even though i only venture into the Church now and then.

    ====================================================

    Hi Jerry,
    lol,..they do!,..all of them trying to fit inside,..i know it can hold 7 cats,..and there are more,..i reckon nobody will ever know how many,.. once i have lots of cover in the garden.

    Glad to see you survived the hail all intact. Everything is lovely by the way.
    I don't think any of us can answer your question as to where the pink digitalis came from. Sorry. Maybe you had a seed drop from your plant and the genes are just showing off. Whatever/wherever it came from its still beautiful. :stew1:
