Tall tropical looking plant w/ huge leaves, in Maryland?

    Thank you, I kinda liked how it looked but I could tell it was going to be to huge there and invasive. I was actually successful at digging up the roots I just pulled enough to lessen the soil then reached in and pulled each small root, I don't think I hurt my bop. My bop hasn't really done much since I planted it last Sept kinda just stalled, any suggestions?

    Happy to suggest.

    BOP is not a plant that would fit in my house, and I don't think it would survive outside. I know very little about those except that they are pretty in pics, and the few I've seen in person. You could ask in a gardening section if this site, away from the ID part, so more people could see the question.

    Catalpa trees are native in N. Amer., no need to worry about it being invasive, just close to the house. Sounds like a great job getting out while you still could!
