Add me to one who like your shed. We want to build one to store all the garden tools. Got table saw and framing nailers. Jerry doesn't say I would build this or remodel this if I had table saw. Will be in garage next day. I also love the door. Call them double Barn door here.

That is a great shed! I showed your post to my husband, who just groaned. He threatened to send me to the shed, rather than get a shed for our garden!

Hello, KID--Well, having something to put the tools in is a must where I garden. One simply cannot just leave them out to let the elements mistreat them. It is also nice to have a place to hide from the frequent rains. I especially like the double door as well. It was something that was a "must" when drawing up the plans.

MG--I am happy that you liked the posting. Sorry to hear that your man was less enthused. Most folks here who live in town have a shed in their back garden for storing tools and empty pots and so forth.
My situation is different than yours--I cannot do without a shed way out there in the country where the lotties are.

We have a 2 1/2 stall garage. and 2 stall car port All full right now.And my car is sitting out. :'( But have old pigeon house and old single stall garage we don't use. Can't get door open to garage.- that swings open. Can use good lumber from the 2 and make one very nice one.Ran out of energy after siding and painting house this summer.

Hiya Sjoerd! I had missed this post and all your story of the new shed. (Busy with all that Christmas stuff I suppose.) Anyway, I am green with jealousy (again :D ) over your new garden house.
    It is wonderful!
I have a garden house on the long list. I think maybe if I aquire many more garden tools, and infringe on Bob's wood working area of our big garage, he may build it for me. :D
He has already designed it, determined where it will sit... but it is down on the list a ways.
I have a wood fence on that wish list too. Maybe 2012 will be the year?

Hiyah Kay--Thanks for liking the new garden shed. I am already enjoying it very much....and it isn't even completely "ready" yet.

Because I am enjoying mine so much, I really do hope that your shed will get bumped-upon the "want list" this year. It is so darned handy.
