@Netty when I wake up at 4am (way too frequently) I find so much pleasure in listening to the birds. It feels like we're living in a Robin's nest this year. We have so very many of them. Never too many birds.

Good Friday morning all, and TGIF!
It sure has been a busy week, and I'm looking forward to the weekend.
My peonies are starting to bloom, and this is my absolute favourite time of year. I love the long days, the warm temperatures, the flowers that are blooming, and just about everything about June. I'm, going to enjoy it to the fullest this weekend.
Off to work, another busy day with no helper - hes been off sick all week.
Have a great day all :)

A bull got out from my neighbors field and scared the you know what outta me . Call the neighbor and he came and brought an huge container full of strawberries, and retreived his huge black angus bull that was snorting like he was ready to take me out. The bull is a black angus maybe I’ll have a big juicy steak …

There was a bull got loose and was just outside the main gate of our farm. My Quarterhorse wanted to eat his lunch !! He had some "Cow" in him and I noticed the bull because my horse was cutting him from inside his pasture while the Haflinger was so confused as to what was happening he just stood and stared !!

Every move the bull made my horse was blocking him from inside his pasture and the bull was reacting to it. I guess you really had to be there. It was hilarious !! Cutting competition with a fence in the way. :smt005

Anniekay great story . The Arabians reacted the same when the bull approached even with a Hotwire fence between them. The Tenn Walker stood and looked on as he began backing himself in the barn. My Arabians were protecting their territory against a huge beast squealing like crazy… a huge Warning …

@Columbiariver This was a lesson to remember… Never again will I ever walk up to a bull with a bucket full of grain to take him home.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 12°C and clear.
I'm up with a desire to get stuff done today! I got home from a busy day at work yesterday, then cut all 3 acres of grass before sanding the front deck. Today DD with put on the stain.
I have plants that need to get into the ground, as well as plants for sale and people will be coming by. I also have 2 rows of tomatoes to plant, pumpkins to plant and gardens to weed and water. I also want to get to burning the brush pile - that might be a good job for my son - and finish bringing up the branches from the lower part of the property. Its going to be another busy day!
