Yesterdays rain was much needed, and today the missed chore of grass cutting will be done at work. Should make for an easy day.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently just 5.8°C and clear! Wow, it feels COLD!!
Lots to do around the house and yard today. The laundry is piled high, and the grass is growing like crazy after all the rain we had on Thursday. That should keep me busy for a good part of the day. I also need to bake a cheesecake for my sons birthday. Hes turning 29, so hard to believe!

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 8°C and clear. Another chilly morning, but highs of 24°C are expected later today.
We are heading to see second grandson today for his birthday. He's turning 6 tomorrow, I just can't figure out where the time GOES!
Its been a busy week for birthdays, but this is the last one. Where did August go? Winter is slowing sneaking up on us.

My son asks for Cheese Cake for every birthday. If you jump on a plane now, you might get here before the last piece is gone! haha

Good Monday morning all. Currently just 9°C and clear.
Its Labour Day here in Canada, so that means its a holiday and the kids all go back to school tomorrow. The official end of summer. Already.
I have the day off and hope to get my brush pile burned off, but first I have to make sure that the fire ban has been lifted. It sure would be nice to make this pile disappear.
I'll also putter in the yard and try to get some gardens tidied up.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 10°C and clear. A beautiful day ahead with sun and a high of 24°C expected. I'll take it.
I managed to get almost the entire brush pile burned yesterday. What a relief to get that done!
Off to work after a lovely long weekend. I'm sure theres lots to water and deadhead and grass to cut. Hopefully the day passes quickly.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 13°C and clear. Its going to be a lovely day today, sunny with a high of 27.
The Amazon delivery man brought me a package yesterday ... an invisible fence kit! I thought I would give it a try as a regular fence is too expensive. Hoping it works for Thunder, and if it does I will buy another collar for Indie when she is 6 months old. A friend is going to help me install it next weekend.
Off to work for more grass cutting. Amazing how a good rain can get the grass growing again!

Off to work, to do all those things I saved for a rainy day. It will probably be an early day, and then I can come home and do all the rainy day chores I have at home.

Good Friday morning all. TGIF! Currently 8°C and overcast. Weatherman says we are going to get strong winds this afternoon. I'll make sure to put away our patio umbrella and anything else before I leave for work today. Work today will be mostly grass cutting due to yesterdays rain.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 12°C and raining.
Woke up bright and early for some reason, so I got up and had a shower and now I'm enjoying a coffee.
This afternoon I'll be heading to a bridal shower for my eldest daughters best friend. I should see a lot of people there that I haven't seen for a while so it will be fun.
Hopefully I'll get some housework done this morning, but I'm not feeling too ambitious haha

Good Monday morning all. Currently just 9°C and overcast. Its great sleeping weather and I slept all night without waking up for the first time in months!
Lovely time at the bridal shower yesterday. I got to spend some time with my granddaughter while her Mom was busy helping.
Today its back to work, and I think its going to be a cedar hedge trimming kinda day.
