Riley— more interesting pics. Repetitive or not, I enjoy seeing the little beast. The grey squirrel was a bonus.

As they say, "a creature of habit."

    It came out at 23.18pm

    Went next door at 23.52pm

    Came back in 00.23am

    Went to bed at 00.44am

Obviously, it didn't stay out long as it was raining and cold, sometimes according to the camera, as low as -2c.

The new camera I had covering the feeder, only picked up the pesky cat walking across the steps under the French Windows. It may be the hedgehog isn't transmitting enough heat when it's raining. As most of the food was gone. I've stopped giving it calci worms as it doesn't like them.
The suspect camera covering the other doorway, picked up nothing.

At least the cat wasn't snooping around the hedgehog's house last night.

I am always so surprised at how large your hedgehogs seem to be. I do not know if it is the camera or if your lads are genetically sturdier. Ours are smaller.
Anyway, it is good seeing them on the move again.
A temp of -2 … what the heck!?

More activity last night, mostly from the pesky cat!

The hedgehog appeared from its house around 11.00pm. and a camera caught it going through the other doorway into that garden at 11.07pm

The cat was having a sniff around this doorway at around half-past four

The hedgehog came back into our garden around 6.15am

I haven't a still shot of it going back into the house, just a blurry video, but it did straight after it came back.
The new cameras didn't pick it up going into the feeder, but it must have been in there as some of the food has gone and it had a pee. When it was down there I've no idea. It couldn't have been a different hedgehog as none came through the original doorway.

But it did catch Bert the blackbird posing on the bird bath at 7.00am.

Enjoyable commentary, Riley. Birdbath Bert the Blackbird was another bonus. Cheers.

More activity last night, despite a lot of rain. But there's still only one hedgehog

    First appearance at 09.55pm

Out through doorway 1 at 10.15pm.

    Back in again at 1.50am.

Out through doorway 2 at 2.01am

    Back in again at 4.54am

    Bed time at 5.05am

A squirrel went through the second door at 6.42 am
    [IMG]

Between all the wanderings, it had time to eat all the food in the feeder on our main patio, but given the short gap between sightings, it must be a quick eater!
Unfortunately, that camera was the suspect one and recorded nothing.

Pretty much the same routine last night.

Out of the house at 9.59pm

Then went through the first doorway at 10.00pm

    Came back at 10.09pm

Went through the second doorway at 10.18pm

Spent a long time in there.

    Came back at. 5.52am

No still shot, just a video.

Had another quick through the first doorway, then went to bed at. 6.02 am

Ate some of the food in the feeder at some point. No other hedgehogs sighted.

I think it spent quite a bit of time in the garden beyond the second door as the few previous visits had been short. The garden the other side of the main door is rather bland, being a rental, just grass and a large paved area. The other garden is pretty unkempt with a lot of shrubs etc., as the owner is in a wheelchair and doesn't go in the garden. So there must be plenty of grubs etc., for it.

Your commentary adds to the pics.
