It is not what it was 4 years ago. Back then there were tables of herbs for purchase and lots more growing in the ground. Since then the owners have turned it into a Spa complete with small cottages referred to as Sunday Houses https://www.tshaonline.org/handbook/onl ... cles/cfs01, a very upscale restaurant, a posh souvenir shop and most of what's growing in the ground is a large patch of Chard for the restaurant.

But some of the original charm is still there for now at least.

Oh, Toni, is that in Fredricksburg? We went there shortly after we moved to Texas, and I went crazy buying herbs! They had such a lovely selection, and most of my original herb bed was started from purchases from them.
Darn, there are too many spas and too few herb farms!

I forgot to say it's in Fredericksburg ;) I was really disappointed in it this time. Those trays of plants in front of the tool shed, maybe 10 trays but none of them for sale.

The red bed frame that used to hold lots of plants was sitting there empty too.

Looks like a very charming place. Too bad they couldn't keep the herb farm going too.
