The Sun Is Setting On Our Harbour

It is the calm before the storm. Tonight it’s gonna blow.

The Bride says that I must tell you that there is some ice and water birds out there.

 

What a lovely photo! Having the water birds in it adds to its interest.
Please, what is the structure in the middle of the photo?

 

This is the old (and present) entrance to our harbour. The tripod is like a lighthouse, it has lights at night and in fog to direct the skippers.
