Hey Toni, did you see the newest issue of Birds and Blooms yet [April/May 2013] ? They have a picture of the front end of a jeep or something that someone planted flowers in. It looks cool. It is on page 9.
I have seen VW bug fronts planted in, I don't get Birds and Blooms but will look for that photo when I find a mag on sale . I want a truck tail gate now and some trailer fenders. My father-in-law just couldn't fathom that I am not going to sand blast, paint and put new decals on the tractor hood. He has some of the original decals that he kept offering me.
Love the old hood. My husband would just swoon. Would love to come across some great finds for my new garden.
Lovely piece of toni-art there. Well spotted! I like your grandson a lot, he sounds like my kind of kid. I saw a planted-up car last summer and didn't stop to photograph it. I'll check it out come summer, just hope it's still there.
