The basil seeds (Genovese large leaf) that I planted on Monday are peeking up out of the soil! I'm so happy to have something growing. Judging from the little green things coming through the soil, our area may be very well supplied with basil.

Mart, I know exactly how you feel. We have wind and wet, so no planting lettuces or onions until next week (if the weather gods smile on us). Let's hope we both have good luck and good planting weather!

The parsley seed has germinated, so I have a tray of herbs growing now:setc_083:! Onions, lettuces, and carrots are in two of the raised beds, and with luck I'll chit potatoes today.
