I just chuckled when I saw this guy lounging on a leaf of the Night Blooming Cyreus.
He just looked at me like "Sheesh! Can't a guy get a little privacy around here?" :D

Thanks everyone. He was so cute just hanging out there for a while. We have lots of these lizards hanging around eating their weight in bugs. :stew2:

I guess we could use some around here if they eat bugs, our mosquitoes are terrible with all of the rain we are getting....

He is a cute little lizard. That is one critter that I don't see here in Nebraska. I am not familiar with them, and if I did see one, I would probably yelp and jump a few feet!!
I am used to seeing little snakes, and all kinds of bugs and spiders, but lizards might really give me a surprise! :D

Sherry... I don't know if they eat mosquitos... if they did... I'd make sure they bred, ALOT! :D

Kay... They are very "comfortable" around people. They don't jump out... just go about their merry way. Sometimes I have to coax them out of my way on the steps.

:D :D The lizard may not be startled, but I sure would be!
I guess it would be fun to have the little fellows in the garden, and if they eat bugs, well they would be most welcome!!

    How cute, and perfect caption!
The only helpful animals around here are neighbors' cats. Other than that, we only have animals that are damaging to gardens.
