    Good to hear Oreti :)

Ta :) I've just planted a red seedless one to grow alongside that one but there are a few others around the place. This one has grown up the tree next door

Daniel— that is a good and varied harvests. A bit of everything. You are showing the contents of a horn of plenty. Well done, you.
BTW— how has it been going this year?

I'm having a catch up with a couple of friends this afternoon in a nearby Garden Centre so I have collected up a bag full for them and their families too.

    Zigs— what are those, Damsons?
They look good, whatever they are.

Oreti— those look great! Are they Reina Vic’s? They look delicious. I had to show my Bride your split plums all lined-up tidily. Chapeau.
Tell me more about the “flash freezing”. It sounds interesting, although I usually make mine into Jame the same night. There are some years however that I have to freeze them in until months later when I need to make another batch. That happens regularly with strawbs and blueberries.

Now then, lucky friends to get those beauties.
p.s. that split plums foto would make a great puzzel.

    Cheers Oreti.
Ahhhhh… I got it. I knew that technique, but did not equate the term with the method.
It is all clear now, thanks to you. Merci.

No I'm just resting my wrist and hubby has pulled muscles in his right leg so I'm doing the rest of the walks, but we still have a dog walker for River. Also i still don't get notification email so i forget to look in, I've been thinking of changing my email address for here that might solve my problem but i might get locked out if i change it.
