    Wow! Still lots of pops of color in your garden. That freckles is a real attention getter.

    Philip you have so many wonderful blooms in your garden. I'm enjoying the extended flowering season this year and hope the frosts stay away a little longer.
    I love the pale lemon of your first Antirrhinum - for some reason it reminds me of lemon sherbert.

    Really decent foto's Philip. Very lovely indeed.
    I liked those asters and the Clematis freckles were looking so good. I ordered three from T&M a number of years ago and they did quite well for me for a long time but now they have all died due to the frosts here, I reckon.
    That's why I enjoy seeing yours so much--they are unusual and also have attractive shapes when the flower has died.

    <sigh> I love your garden.

    It makes me want to just wander through it, or maybe pull up a lawn chair and just bask in the colors and peace of it. What a lovely sanctuary.

    Still looking very good there Philip. I too was attracted to "freckles". I think that orange rose is becoming my favorite (sorry Yellow). That red banana is also a real "looker". Love that last photo of the overview!

    Wet or not, your blooms are lovely. :stew2: I too love that clematis. We're halfway through project re-erecting fence, and I want clematis climbing on it. Wonder if I can get hold of that one here?

    I have been very busy lately but not that busy that I can't stop and smell the roses or look at others pictures and get a natural high from it.

    Thanks muchly. I'll take any bit of pleasure I can get.

    Hi Cayuga Morning,..as Eileen mentioned,.. we had a good Summer and so far a very mild Autumn,..Winter begins on the 1st of November but not a sign of it as yet ,..thankfully.

    Oh as a matter of interest my Clivia,..Both of them,..are thriving.
    =======================================================

    Hi Jewell,..ah yes that Clematis,'Freckles',..is eye catching,..it looks good when the foliage is green but when there are brown leaves it tends to blend with them too easily,..plus the bloom is small for a Clematis.
    =======================================================

    Hi Eileen,..that Antirrhinum is certainly "Mouth Watering",..to me as well,.. and i agree it looks very like Lemon Sherbert,..a taste one never forgets.

    Knock on wood the frost keeps away,..imagine Hollyhocks in October and Clematis as well,..those two are usually finished by now.
    =====================================================

    Hi Sjoerd,..sorry your Clematis,'Freckles',..was killed by the frost,..yes they are unusual,..and as you say after blooming they change to attractive shapes.
    =====================================================

    Hi Netty,..glad you are enjoying the Autumn blooms,..my garden still thinks its Summer.

    =====================================================

    Hi Ronni,..my garden is best described as "organized chaos',..the paths start to get smaller as plants spread,.. by summer its a case of walking sideways in some areas but then its touching the Curry Bush and the Mints and Purple Fennel so you get the scents which is a bonus.

    The Video below was September of 2012.
    Video===September Blooms,..Before Winter.
    =====================================================

    Hi Cheryl,..ah another member spotting that Clematis,'Freckles',..it is different from the usual Clematis i think that is the attraction though the bloom is attractive but small.

    Lol you are starting to be swayed towards the Orange Rose and away from the Yellow Rose Rose,..i don't blame you as it does draw my attention as well.

    Outside my garden its Autumn,.. but inside its calm and mild like Summer,..but lots of mists of late.
    =====================================================

    Hi Deanna,..lol Freckles is a winner,..it was my first time to come across one as well,..isn't there always something new to come across in gardening,..oh your mixed Lily seeds took and will produce blooms in 2014,..now what colour will appear,..something else to look forward to.
    =====================================================

    Hi Droopy,..wet blooms are seen here very often lol,..we had a very fine mist all day yesterday,..so fine you would not notice it until you bstepped outside then soaked in minutes.

    That Clematis,'Freckles',..is not very showy at a distance of more that six feet as the blooms are smaller that the usual Clematis,..if you have brown leaves which of course will appear in time then its hard to notice the blooms as they tend to blend with the brown leaves.
    =====================================================

    Hi Barb,..delighted you managed to take a break and spot the blooms across the water,..always nice to get a high.

    Oh and he gives me more pleasure. ;)

    Very nice. Seems I have more posting time at 4AM when I have slept a bit. I particularly like the Fushia and Calendula.

    Hi Barb,..amazing how a little sleep can be so refreshing,..i had forty winks during the day,..too many irons in the fire and trying to cope with them all wore me out :) .

    That Fuchsia was a small cutting i took when visiting one of the islands on the lake,..it was from a tree growing in a long abandoned garden,..now its about six foot high.
