4 Chicken Breast. ( I used a package of tenders)
    1 cup Oj
    1/2 cup Sugar
    2 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
    2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
    1/4 tsp Ginger
    1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
    1/2 tsp Red Chili Flakes
    1 Tbsp Cornstarch
    Orange Zest

Medium heat for a few minutes then add the cornstarch mixed 2 tbsp water at the end and cook to thicken. Take it off the heat and add the zest.

I used 4 fresh oranges because 8lb bags were on sale. The chicken was cubed, dredged in 3 eggs and dipped in a mix of 1/2c cornstarch and 1/2c flour, pan fried in peanut oil. I also used candied ginger instead of fresh. Fry the chicken how you like, a fancier batter is even better. Once fried, toss the chicken and sauce together.

Green onions and Zest to garnish.

The brussel sprouts and sweet potato were cooked together.

Thanks for sharing this DM. :) I have a recipe but it always seems to miss something. I've never eaten it before, so had nothing to compare it to. Rice vinegar, chili flakes and orange zest were missing from mine. I appreciate it.

Tonight is garlic molasses short ribs, New and Improved orange chicken via Birmingham and basmatti rice. Spring rolls on the side for Hubby.

Quiche. I had leftover vanilla stuffed pork loin and added spinach and sweet potato. A friend called to help so my most expensive asset finished them and put them in the oven. I was gonna add onion and asked for it as I left but girls are so mean!

Hey Jane— congratulations on your first asparagus.

Tonight it was time for fish again. Cod patties, spud chips with garlic and paprika and green beans. Stracciatella.

Hmmm ... I think we are going to have pork shoulder steaks with stir fried broccoli or salad.

We made mango chutney yesterday. There was an unexpected sale on a case of mangos. So today will be chicken curry on a roti for Hubby, and on rice for me. We're eager to try the new chutney.

I do not mind fresh frozen shrimp, as they thaw quickly and peel easy and most have been deveined already. A few seconds of boiling water and voila!
