Gail is that restless leg syndrome or stabbing. If stabbing then get a blood test because it can be a sign of Anemia.

I get the stabbing. Due to Rhumatoid Arthritis I have to have regular blood tests and now the doc wants another to be sure. He thinks I am Aneamic and wants to be sure.

Got my containers filled with soil in order to transplant my seedlings next week. Also am trying to rejuvenate some soil from earlier this season used for tomatoes that were culled. It was nice outside when I began, mild at ~85°, but is now 92°. I will finish up this evening after supper.

Well I ventured out even though it was cold, the mess the wind and rain brought was a disgrace besides leaves coming off the tree's, sorted it all out and had my two Cordyline stems chopped in half.

Trying to germinate about 8-10 pak choi seeds to see what they do... With our mild winters I could grow these all winter long!

It is time here to begin the winterizing of the garden. We have harvested all the veg that can be harvested now. Those things left are Brussels sprouts, parsnips, Swiss chard and the apples. The green manure is still developing in their plots and will be returned to the soil after blooming--the bees enjoy their blooms so much.

We have managed to fill the freezer with the harvests. and now are set for the coming year. Our spuds are beginning to chit now so we will have to finish those off soon.

We are still putting things up though--Apples. We just made some apple-sauce a few minutes ago. I am thinking that I may just have to have a bit of that this evening. ;) One cannot be too slack with quality control, don'tcha know.:setf_004:

Over in the flower half of our lottie we have yellow Heleniums as well as fuchia-coloured and lavender-coloured asters are blooming. The several Clematis terniflora are in bloom with a very heady fragrance. Some Wisteria clusters are hanging down and the Physostegia virginiana are looking very good. My rose still has blooms on it. I deadheaded again two days ago. The ornamental grasses are just barely beginning to show their fall intentions.

Well, it will be early to bed this evening as we will take the excess veg to the Food Bank tomorrow morning.

Brought the pepper plants' pots inside so Florence (the storm) doesn't ruin them. Unfortunately, my tomatoes are on their own. I have 8-10 green ones on the vine and wonder if I should harvest them as well.

Wind is beginning to gust but no rain yet. Cloudy and 80° currently.

thats kind of like "the first snowflake" up here.
Stay safe above all else. the plants aren't worth much compared to your safety.
