Yesterday I walked by some parts of our gardens. I see several flower stems peeping above ground.

Mowed the lawn and treated the few areas of its border in the shade of the rhodos and azaleas with iron sulphate. Too early for lawn food, but the moss doesn't know that.

Clay, what type birds do your feeders attract? We get Cardinals, Finch, Sparrows, Doves, the occasional Blue Jay, Purple Finch, many others. The suet cage lures Woodpeckers of three sizes. The largest has been doing his best to cut down a neighbor's tree. He sounds like a jackhammer.
We put out dried corn one year and stopped when it attracted rats.

Weeded strawberries and transplanted lettuces and currants. Not sure if they are red or black currant.

We made a start on the greenhouse. We removes the soil from one side and half of the back and replaced it with our oen mix of garden soil mixed with our compost.

    A view of the work-area:

We also removed an enormous amount of the upper bed mulch and took it off to the municipal composting and disposal station.

Once the inside had the new soil, we had to use sticks to indicate where the tom plants would go and which direction they would lay.

The tom plants will not go in for another month and a half, so we don’t want to forget our plan.

I also completed the pruning of the butterfly bushes, Rhamnas frangula and wisteria.

Hopefully we can finish the paths and greenhouse today...we’ll see what the weather does.

I admit to much envy. Also sympathize with Mart's freezing temp.
Finally a response regarding my seed order to Seed Savers. They
have been shipped, after more than a month. If the soil warms enough,
I will be preparing areas for early planting.

I didn't do anything in the garden today, but I did clean my leccy golf trolley in anticipation of playing towards the end of the month. I also changed the winter wheels I'd put on it ready to use before this latest lockdown, (but there was no chance), back to the summer wheels.

Sjoerd, rest in anticipation of all the hard work ahead.
    Yes Clay, Brrrrrrrrrrr!
DH Riley, it is best to have all the golf gear ready. There
should be no reason to keep golfers off the course.
