What have you done today in the Garden?

We did some weeding and made some holes ready for planting toms outside (experiment). Changed the conditions of some peas germinating in the greenhouse. They are up and away. I will set them out in a week or so.

 

We've had no significant rain for a week, so I gave everything a bit of a water and a feed, particularly the pots.

 

Thoroughly a special moment for sure. Ours are Charlottes mainly for summer salads, but good to see your Red Potatoes which here would be an all rounder potato, Our's have been in the ground just a few weeks, and are through the soil now, looking strong and healthy, so far,.but time will tell of course.

 

I hurt still so done nought in the Garden today.... the wind was 40 km/hr and unpleasant even though the Sun was out. Been waited on hand and foot, so will milk this for a while...
Made another French Apple Tart now my 2nd attempt and looks very good....

@DianneWoollie so sorry that you still feel sore.
Haven't done anything in the garden but started planning where to plant the next lot of tulips in the autumn.

 

Putting out more seeds and potato’s to chit. The germinating seeds have spilled over to a little table that we have placed there for that purpose.

We are forming plans for tomorrow’s visit to the lottie.

 

well so far I have planted up 12 flats (48 plants each) of jalapenos todday. yesterday it was a custom order all day.. 21 flats of peppers for them. then on to hot block peppers.. and lots more to go and the tomatoes... oh the tomatoes to get done.

 

I ripped out the rotting decorative panels in the balustrade of the old koi pool pergola. They were worse than I thought, the water had seeped through most of the laminations. I then cleaned up the rails and gave them a coat of clear Cuprinol. They are decking balustrade rails, so are quite sound.
But where the panels had been it was still a bit of a mess. So I've put new framing in today, this will need painting.




I've still not decided about replacing the panels. It needs to be solid wood, not plywood. Even with the new frames the panels would have to be 9.5" tall. Timber that wide doesn't come cheap and more to the point it is likely to be a lot thicker than plywood, so might be beyond the scope of my jigsaw.

 

Thanks @Logan Certainly Hobbling less and Laughing more ,I have done a little in the Garden just boring weeding... but have been in another Carry On Film on the set of our New Bank that is very helpful to us Brits with our lack of any really good speaking French...I will tell you about it soon Logan when we chat..
The Garden is looking good, Husband is cutting the various grass areas, seems like every other day now. Still getting some more Tulips come out and the Blossom Trees look wonderful. Seeds are mostly growing, slowly but growing. Late with my Tomatoes though because of our long Saga with the greenhouse erection. Still in Kit Form in the main Workshop...one day we will figure it...

Haven't done anything in the garden today, hope to tomorrow.had other things to do unfortunately, when I'm gardening i can forget about all the other things.

gardening has helped me many a time, so I thinking of you @Logan it is just difficult sometimes to move on from things that you cannot change.

This was originally a tree like a huge Sun Shade Shape it got damaged in storm
and broke the truck completely but it always grows from the roots and they sprout
everywhere given the chance..we let the close shoots grow and a year on it is starting
to look more like a tree and then we get out sun shade back...not sure how it is going
to work out choosing the truck yet though....

 

I transplanted cauliflowers and beetroots.
