I know Loggie, and that is exactly why I originally planted them. In fact, after they have bloomed out, I pull them up and shake the seeds out over the flower garden so that they will be present the following season. They are a simple plant that lifts right out so easily, so aI have them cleaned up in no time. There has developed a romance between me and those little blue spots of joy. I like how the forget-me-nots sort of look like a meandering stream running through the garden. Its a different pattern every year. My Bride says that I “need help”. Ha ha.

My seeds are not doing very well at all. Blame the weather, the ones indoors are not fairing up either.
This year I chose a seed company that had a good reputation, I purchased good seed compost, so just feel a tad disappointed, anyway the garden is full of colour, just a quick gripe over with......so leave you with my photo for today....:smt022
p.s. I know you have seen this one before but need some sympathy...:crying:

Shame about your seeds Dianne and I wouldn't worry too much about your lawn weeds. We don't bother at all about ours anymore, it's got clover, daisies and dandelions.

Just went out to fill the bird feeders. Didn't have to top up the peanut butter as there's still enough left for a few days. It's obvious that it's been pecked at by the blue tits and sparrows, but is now out of reach of the starlings, otherwise. it'd be all gone.

I'm pleased that the back end of the lawn is recovering, not as bare looking as it was a few days ago and more grass coming through.

Harvested three large broccoli heads early this morning so I could sneak them into the refrigerator before the workman arrived to do plastering in the kitchen. Other than that, just watched the drizzle. Sure haven't had to water anything for a while!

I love your stream of forget me nots Sjoerd.

Potted up the tomato plants on my back terrace. I'll grow some there and some at the Community Garden.

Well on my way to Lidls past the Fosse with Shrubs and Roses around it ,suddenly I noticed the Dog Roses are all in Flower, pale pink ones...
Very fond memories of Dog Roses as the house I was born in had them everywhere and I do not really re call other things growing there. Remember the old washing ringer and the coal shed and a few others but The Dog Roses..Photo when it stops raining...Link for now for information...

I also hilled up some potatoes.

Yesterday we had some sun. The strawberries will be good if we get a bit more sun. I did harvest a few this morning though.

Potted on 3 hardy fuchsias and 2 mint cuttings that i rooted in water.
I've got some rose cuttings that i thought that had rooted but when I took them out of the pot they hadn't, i think that it was too old wood to root, but I've put them back in the sand to see if they do.

@DianneWoollie I can remember the coal house, the washing ringer but no dog roses where i used to live.
I remember my mom had a gas fridge but it wasn't very good, the pilot light kept going out.
