I just did a bit more pruning of our big mimosa. Hard to reach the top now, even with a stepladder and my telescopic pruner. Won't be doing much in the afternoons from tomorrow and the week-end as the Ryder Cup will be on TV.

As my car is a hybrid you're supposed to drive it for half an hour every three months to top up the battery. For the last six months, the furthest I've driven is my golf club, six miles away. So this afternoon I took it out on the motorway and did a round trip lasting nearly an hour and did over fifty miles.
It's improved the charge level, but I really need to do it again in a month. But it's a pain when you're on a motorway and not going anywhere in particular.

Pick a venue. Take the wifey. Have a day out. It will do you both a lot of good, not to mention the car battery.

Yes, I am bossy. I know this, but, if you had to run a 38 horse riding stable for your sick Uncle @12 years old, you'd come by bossiness naturally too !!
