Thanks for your kind comments Oreti I enjoyed lookin at your snuggy room very well appointed and it’s about time for a bit of arm chair gardening. Warmer , dryer and time for a break for hard working gardeners. I like pristiness in some ways . Just enough to remove the moss and lichen covering everything that doesn’t move .

Anniekay your comment made me laugh. “I can always smack them with the stick”. Love to see your beautiful walking stick. So fancy smancy. I have several walking sticks from old bamboo or even a blinged out fancy cane.

Today is Veterans Day and we honor those who served and support them. We need to help the veterans that need help. They deserve all the help we can give to live a life with pride, honor and dignity . So many are homeless. We honor all our veterans who fought for our freedom. Thank you all for your service and some veteran members here who served our country and other veterans who served in their country . My heart will always remember and honor the great sacrifices they made for freedom.

I found this picture when horses were part of the battle right along side the soldiers in WW1.
This picture gives me pause , to remember all those brave souls that went into combat , past and present .
