Thanks guys. Pac, no sledge hammer is feasible on this lock. My potting shed has a roll up door on it. If that gets ruined it would be 800 bucks to replace.

I have found a Locksmith who is coming out either tomorrow or next week. I told him "no rush" and he can pick locks he says. If he can't get the lock picked he says : " Don't worry, we have ways !! " :smt044

@Anniekay i hope that things go ok, it would be terrible if i lost the key to our front door, all the locks are in the door and impossible to break it.

@Oreti the VB don't self seed in my garden.

I have locked myself out of my house so many times, and once I locked my oldest son in the car when he was a baby... Thankfully a lady saw me do that, and was helpful. There was no second key to our car, so she whistled to a man on the parking lot, and yes he had a coat hanger in his car, and one window happened to be open just a crack and he got my car unlocked... That was over 50 years ago.

And we have a big blizzard coming over the weekend, it is supposed to be -10F by sunday night. Brrrrr. I have been trying to batten down the hatches here. I have the heat lamp in my well house plugged in. I did not get at the outside wall by the kitchen sink. Maybe I can in the morning before it gets nasty? They are calling for 12-18 inches of snow for here. Otherwise, the kitchen faucets will be frozen. That is a long story, but it used to be an interior wall and the plumbing runs along the edge of that wall and is hard to insulate. We keep trying.

I did work on some of my fall cleanup a little bit yesterday...
