Been hassling with taking down about a 50’ Douglas fir tree that died recently by the road. Just using the battery op chain saw. Trimming off the lower branches. It’s a challenge it will definitely be tricky. I will just take my time and be mindful of every step along the way.

Mowed the front and back lawns and pastures. The recent warm temps & sunny afternoons starts up the grass and weeds to take over quickly.

Sprinkled the black top driveway with my fancy new bleach spreader. Easy spreader to make. First empty out a cup or 2 from the bleach from the container. Then drilled a few holes in the bottom and part of one side of a gallon bleach container, hooked the container handle up to a long handled hoe and just drag the bleach bottle across the driveway to spread out the bleach. Then sprinkle with the hose and continued to spread it out using the leaf blower. The bleach used was the non-splash type it’s very thick like glue and just wore my rain pants just in case any bleach is spilled too close. Nice little technique really worked well. I also used my garden tractor to run down the driveway with the leaf blower to spread the bleach down to the road. The commercial products made for moss removal doesn’t work well on black top driveways. Over the years the easiest, most efficient way for me to clean off moss from the drive and roof is simply using bleach/water mix. It doesn’t hurt the plants near by .
