I have to secretly listen to Celine Dion, hubby doesn't like her singing.

Pacnorwest great that you find music healing.

Another group I find good for calming and when creativity needs a boost. Live with orchestra.

Having taught myself to play, "These foolish things."

I had a go at, "Put Your Head on My Shoulder," which I heard recently on YouTube.

Paul Anka songs always remind me of the last holiday I had with my parents. By the following year, I had a car and went on holiday with a girlfriend. The year after I left home.

The holiday with my parents, would have been in 1957 when I was seventeen. This Paul Anka song was at the top of the hit parade for nine weeks, including the two we were away. I met a girl on that holiday and went out with her most evenings. In cafés and pubs, we'd hear it playing. We had a great time, but we knew we wouldn't see each other again after the holiday, we lived too far away from each other, but it didn't matter.
I didn't hear it again for fifty years. When I did, I bought the single, because it makes me smile.
it's been in one of my jukeboxes for fifteen years, it's part of my 50/60s collection. But a couple of years ago, I taught myself to play it.

Written and produced by Richard Carpenter, he wrote it for Karen but she never got the chance to record it.

Yes i watched that a long time ago and he's great. It's a Cher song that was faster. He sometimes fronts Queen.

    This is a good one.
