As I've not been able to get in my garden much recently, I've been playing my Yamaha Tyros 5. This is my favourite Hoagy Carmichael song I like to play using some jazz chords.

Dick Haymes had about fifty top 20 hits during the forties.
He, like several other singers, was originally a big band vocalist, first for Harry James and later Tommy Dorsey, before having his own radio show.

Another of his, I like, is this. The song from the film noir of the same name, starring Gene Tierney and Dana Andrews. I have a recording of it and I've watched it many times.

I've had the album that includes this track on a cassette for decades.

I had the single in one of my jukeboxes, but it was not in a very good condition.

Casually looking through eBay listings early in the week, I found another copy for £5.50. It was delivered this afternoon.

It turned out to be in mint condition!
