Finally spring has made it thru a very hard winter. Lost a few things due to large tree branches falling on some perennials and I’m not braggon but no gophers it’s a miracle…first time in years they haven’t torn up the flower beds. a few blooming shrubs and vines.

@Sjoerd, it's Philadelphus lewisii - it may just be the species and not a cultivar. I looked in my notes, and did not see a variety.

Thanks Daniel. I have several Philidelphus sorts, but none have such nice- looking blooms as yours, size-wise.
    I especially like this bush.

Very nice indeed @Pacnorwest! You have a true Pacific NW garden!

One duck is the sole surviving Indian Runner Duck. They are true egglaying workhorses (or is it "Work Ducks?). Bad evil murdering animals killed her two friends last year. Racoons? Possums? Rats? I don't know. The three new ducks are Magpie Ducks. They originate in Wales. We bought unsexed ducks - turned out, two are males. Supposedly their tails turn upward, while females tail turn downward. Didn't help. We failed on the tails of the ducks from Wales, and that's no tall tale.
But they do eat snails. :smt043
