    Yes that's right but chunky potato. Buy them frozen with oil already on and put them on a baking tray. Can still deep fat fry them, but haven't got a chip fryer anymore.:)

    Tonight its Chicken tikka masalla with Basmati rice,our own bell peppers and green beans.

    Roast turkey with potatoes,cabbage,peas, parsnips from the garden, sprouts and gravy.

    Pudding, treacle tart, cooked apple from garden and custard.

    Tonight we continue with a recent seasonal theme, Soup Sundays! My wife loves good hot soups in the winter.

    Our recipe will be of a... different type. Pickle soup! Sounds bad I know but is really hearty and tasty. I was quite surprised with my first experience.

    Bacon and egg with sweetcorn, baked potato and salad. Salad is lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, spring onions and chives. Also a homemade, homegrown cucumber and chilli pickle.:)

    Corned beef hash, cabbage, peas, sprouts, celeriac, fried red onions with garlic and chilli and gravy.

    Corned beef hash is mashed potatoes and corned beef in layers,then baked in the oven until top is golden brown.:)
