Is it against the law to hack one’s own pot?
Of course it could have been an external power looking to corner the market with those round and delicious offerings. You need chickenware to protect against unwanted samplers.

Meanwhile back in the harbour, we will have swiss chard stamppot with meat balls w/ gravy and bitterkoekjes pudding for pud. I am looking forward to this.

Mart— the stamppot in this case is mashed potatos with swiss chard stirred through with a smidgen of bacon grease.
A depression is made in the potatos and the meatballs nd gravy goin the depression.
Bitterkoekjes pudding is vanilla pudding with chunks of bittercookies mixd through.
I had to look up bitterkoek on the internet and It said that they are macaroons. They are not macaroons, but they are soft and have a distinct and sweet flavour. No coconut ingredients.
An afterthought — are there macaroons that do not have coconut in them?

I hope that this is clear.

Oké Mart. Well, I shall have to leave that in your hands as I have no idea.
Cayu, it is absolutely not a merengue.

Mart, I was just saying that our bitterkoekjes are not merengue, but yours are certainly. Haha.
Or maybe I am confused about what a merengue is.

Well I tried the baked cod with pecan crust !! It was OK but nothing impressive ! May be better if fresh cod was used ! I mixed the butter flour and pecans in my Ninja ! Next time will use more butter and salt,,lemon pepper ect ! Just a little bland for me !

mart, one of the things I enjoy about cooking is the experimenting. I bet you'll figure out that cod recipe to your liking.

Tonight my my husband & I threw together what turned out to be like a ragout:. sausage, onions, tomatoes, & fennel cooked down into a thick sauce over pasta. It was quick, easy & good.

Well this was not jerky it was ground turkey. I do make jerky, probably 9 lbs of chicken jerky per month with loads like this picture following the chicken because it all has to to cleaned in between. Mostly I make pet treats, but sometimes pet dad gets treats as well.
